The Department of Education have published guidance on Helping Pre-School Children Learn at Home during the current Coronavirus pandemic which you may find useful.

The Department for Education have also brought together an initial list of online educational resources to help children to learn at home. These websites have been identified by some of the country’s leading educational experts and offer a wide range of support and resources for pupils of all ages.

The Education People, in order to support families and children during the current Nursery closure, have developed a regular series of ideas for families to do at home with their children. They will publish a new edition of their Growing and Learning Together online resources every Friday.

David Walliams is releasing a free children’s audio book daily for the next 30 days. The first story is already available for download on Walliams’ website. Called ‘The Terrible Triplets’, it’s part of his book ‘The World’s Worst Children 3’, a collation of different stories that was released in 2018.

The audio book extracts will be released daily at 11am, and will be selected from his ‘World’s Worst Children’ book series.
